MCC's Creative Arts Committee and English/Philosophy Department are thrilled to announce Visiting Nonfiction Writer, Ingrid Rojas Contreras as part of their 2023-2024 Visitng Writer Series. They will be hosting a live Zoom CNF Workshop with Ingrid on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm.  There will also be a pre-recorded reading (link TBA).

Ingrid Rojas Contreras was born and raised in Bagota, Colombia.  Hailed as "original, politically daring and passionately written" by Vogue.  She has received numerous awards and fellowships from Bread Loaf Writer's Converence, VONA, Hedgebrook, the Comargo Foundation, and the National Association of Lation Arts and Culture.  Ingrid is also a Visiting Writer at the University of San Francisco.
